Sharing and Embedding

Once your Suite is built and ready, it is time to get it in front of your users. FormWise gives you two main ways to share a Suite: a direct link and an embed code for your website.

Make sure your Suite has at least one published Flow - a Flow with a live (production) version. If any Flow in the Suite is still unpublished, FormWise asks you to publish it when you click Share.

The simplest way to share your Suite is with a direct link.

Open your Suite from the Suites page.
Click the Share button.
On the Share Link tab, copy the link.
Send it to anyone - via email, Slack, social media, or wherever you like.

Anyone who clicks the link can access your Suite directly. They do not need a FormWise account to get started - a user account is created for them automatically within your Suite so their usage and credits can be tracked.

Embedding on your website

If you want your Suite to live inside your own website, you can embed it using an iframe.

Open your Suite and click the Share button.
Open the Embed (iframe) tab and copy the embed code. This is an iframe snippet that you can paste into any webpage.
Add the snippet to your website's HTML where you want the Suite to appear.

The default embed size is 100% width and 700px height. Use the Embed Height control in the same tab to change the height, or adjust the iframe dimensions yourself to fit your layout.

New Suites block embedding until you change their Domain permissions (see below), so check that setting before you paste the snippet.

Controlling where your Suite can be embedded

Embedding is controlled from the Domain permissions section of your Suite's Settings tab, using the Only allow access on authorized URLs switch:

Switch off - Your Suite can be embedded on any website, and the direct link works too.
Switch on, no URLs (the default for new Suites) - Embedding is blocked everywhere, and the direct link keeps working.
Switch on, with URLs - Your Suite only loads when embedded on one of the authorized URLs. Opening the link directly returns a 404.

To allow specific websites:

Open your Suite and go to the Settings tab.
Under Domain permissions, turn on Only allow access on authorized URLs.
Enter the URL of a website you want to allow (for example, https://yourcompany.com) and click Add. Changes save automatically.

If someone tries to embed your Suite on a site that is not in the list, it will not load. The number of authorized URLs you can add depends on your plan.

Passing visitor details in the link

When your site already knows the visitor, the share link or the iframe src can carry a few facts about them, such as a name or plan, so the Flows inside do not ask again. The Suite and each Flow must have Session context switched on. See Session context for the parameter format and what the AI does with the values.

Public access and Suite users

Shared Suites are designed for public access - your users do not need an existing FormWise account. When someone opens your Suite for the first time, they automatically get their own user account within it. This account tracks their usage, credits, and personalization settings.

You can see how your Suite is being used, including credits used and total conversations, on its Overview tab.

The share link and embed described above are direct, open access - anyone with the URL can get in. If you want to charge for access, gate content behind sign-in, or offer tiered plans, share your Suite through a Portal (beta) instead. A Portal is its own branded entry surface with a dedicated link, end-user sign-in, and plan-based entitlements; your Suite's Flows and personalization work the same way underneath, while the Portal adds the paywall and access-control layer on top.

Here is a quick summary of the steps to share your Suite:

Confirm the Flows inside are published (have a live version).
If you plan to embed, set your Domain permissions.
Click the Share button.
Copy the share link or embed code.
Paste it wherever you want to share - a website, an email, a message, or anywhere else.
